The Ambassadors are made up of business owners and managers from across the County’s business community. Our Ambassadors represent Herefordshire County Destination BID businesses in terms of their sector and location within the County.
The Herefordshire County BID (HCBID) is looking for Ambassadors to work alongside the Board and BID Team of HCBID/ Visit Herefordshire LVEP. We are looking for individuals who can represent Herefordshire in a positive, enthusiastic, and engaged way, acting as an advocate for the Visitor Economy within Herefordshire across your own networks. In 2022, the Visitor Economy in Herefordshire was worth £637 million pounds to our economy, employing just over 7400 people. Working with us you can support this key economic driver within our county, helping the region to thrive.
The main aims and objectives of HCBID:
To develop and deliver an overarching countywide strategy to support the Visitor Economy
To increase footfall, dwell time and spend
To promote Herefordshire as a destination to visit, live and work – locally, regionally and nationally
To manage and fund the Visit Herefordshire website, content creation and PR campaigns
To work with partners to develop and extend key visitor and leisure developments
To support visitor economy businesses in an ever-changing economic environment
To attract other businesses/ partnerships to join Visit Herefordshire
To source external funding
To deliver the Local Visitor Economy Partnership for Herefordshire
To build regional networks to create a VisitEngland Tier 1 Destination Development Partnership
Purpose of HCBID Ambassador Programme is:
To promote HCBID / Visit Herefordshire to support the delivery of the companies aims and objectives.
To Build a supportive network of businesses, partner organisations and influencers to increase brand visibility
Ensure active engagement with key stakeholders and businesses spreading the message far and wide.
